USCi is seeking a Junior DevOps/Software Engineer to join a fast-paced, high tech company in the field of semiconductors & electronics. In addition to having the qualifications required for this position, the successful candidate must be a “doer” who can roll up his/her sleeves to get things done as well as be able to draw upon and operate within a high-performance team.  As a Junior DevOps/Software Engineer, you will assist with the development, delivery and management of technology-based business solutions. You may work on coding, testing, implementation and/or analysis utilizing various software languages and tools to meet both functional and technical requirements.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or currently working towards a Bachelors/Master’s degree.
  • A track record of strong academic or work performance

 

Preferred Majors:

  • Computer Science / Engineering
  • Information Systems /  Technologies

 

Responsibilities and Other Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining USCi’s Salesforce and Sharepoint solutions, forms and workflows.
  • Ensuring that all systems and workflows are documented, and that documentation is maintained.
  • Experience with relational databases. Database report and script creation including, but not limited to: SQL queries, MS SSRS, Crystal reports, and JMP scripts.
  • A familiarity with software programming. Experience in modern languages and platforms such as C++, C#, and/or Java.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Server technologies such as Windows Server, Sharepoint Service, and SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of National Instruments LabVIEW, or a willingness to learn LabVIEW.
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
  • Strong communications (oral and written), interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to learn new concepts and technologies.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, detail-oriented and organized.
